Recommended if you're coming from East (Genoa or Milan). As soon as passed the gate, turn right and follow for Savona and Porto - Palacrociere. After about 1 km, at first crossing turn right on SP 1 Aurelia, keeping the see at your left for about 3 up to the city of Savona . After a short climb (Via Gramsci) engage the roundabout turning left as you see the Priamar Fortress and follow for Porto - Palacrociere.
Recommended if you're coming from West (Torino-Nice) Follow for Savona Centro and Porto - Palacrociere, driving along the main road (C.so Svizzera). At first roundabout (after 1 km) keep your left and follow along the main road (Via Stalingrado). After about 3 km you enter the city by passing under a railroad bridge: at next roundabout go straight along the tree lined avenue (C.so Tardy Benech and then C.so Mazzini) as long as you reach the port entrance.
